The Tools You Need To Craft Your Novel, Publish, and Engage with Readers

I have carefully curated the list of resources below. I've only included those resources I've used or tested myself.

When we can keep our processes simple, we save ourselves time. I've chosen the systems or servers included in the list because of their ease of use or the excellent support their teams offer.

However, some systems, like the Scrivener software, which I highly recommend, do require time to learn. But some things are worth the investment of our time. Like writing a novel. Or learning Scrivener.

I will continue to add resources to this list, so check back often.

Email Marketing Service

Flodesk

Flodesk makes designing and sending emails a breeze. Their drag and drop editor is easy to use, their templates are fun and functional. Best of all is Flodesk's affordability. One price for unlimited everything, including subscribers.

I use Flodesk for both my list of readers and my list of writers.

While Flodesk doesn't offer landing pages, several of their forms can serve the function of a simple landing page to capture email addresses.

I consistently recommend Bluehost because I've had consistently great experiences with the support their team offers. They also offer affordable hosting packages. Bluehost hosts both of my websites.

Writing Software

Scrivener

If you're tired of scrolling through a Word doc to find something 50-pages back, or you're tired of having to leave Word to access research in a file on your desktop, Scrivener is for you. But there are so many more reasons to love this writing software.

Is there a learning curve? Yes. But learning just the basics is enough to write your entire manuscript.
